BMW improvement

After buying my lovely E53 BMW, namely an X5 from 2002, several parts began to malfunction. It started with the rear door resist to open, which was not a big issue, since Anton and me mostly sit in front.

Worse was the driver outside door handle breaking. Even worse was the same door inner handle broke. Now when replacing the outer door handle, I found the inner door opener attaches to a thin plastic counterpart, that has to withhold opening momentum. Glueing it 2 times with 2k couldn't improve, the joint broke at a medium pull action of door handle.

I decided to support the plastic part by glueing the bowden cable into the mount, which gives a strong support now. Drawback is that Bowden is now fixed and cannot be removed as before. But the joint is strong as "hell" now, why want to remove it anyway again?

Meanwhile my colleague told me, that he had also once repaired the door, i.e. the window, which had fallen down due to broken plastic holders. He left some visble marks.
